Senior Guy Session at Stone Creek Park

Last fall, I updated the Gifford’s family photos, so imagine my joy when Jakob booked me for a senior session! It was so cool to watch him grow into the shoes of adulthood.

Stone Creek Park in Flower Mound was a beautiful backdrop for this handsome senior, full of interesting trees and pathways to explore. The highlight of this park was the creek! There were plenty of picturesque backdrops of waterfalls, bridges, and foliage. If you’re shopping around for a great location, look no further!

Jakob’s photos turned out stunning. He is an amazing drummer, and he brought more than just a pair of drum sticks! He brought his set to the session for some amazing photos.

We found the perfect spot that took advantage of the amazing backlight! He showed off his free spirit and put on a mini concert for us. It was so cool to see him in his element!

Jakob also loves fishing and working out, and enjoys Summer Moon Vanilla Lattes and Cheez-its. Full of fun and energy, his grins were completely contagious!

Jakob read my style guide and prepped for his session. Since his “go-to” style is jeans and a t-shirt, he wore plenty of layers to show off his personality. He brought his favorite shoes.

His mom came to cheer him on. I made sure to take some photos of her and Jakob, too! That’s something I always love to do. Most moms protest, but I know they’re secretly happy they have a great reason to have their picture taken with their grown up child!

Jakob was amazing in the spotlight! He has an easy-going, cool attitude about him that is so calming. I think we definitely captured that essence in his session! It was amazing to get to know you a little more, Jakob! You’re a heartwarming person, and I know you’re going to make a fantastic adult. Congratulations!
