Senior Guy Session at Holland Lake Park

Preston is a homeschool graduate who loved playing basketball and baseball during high school. To show their team spirit, his baseball team all grew mullets. Preston rocked his!

It was great to see Preston again! I photographed his family last fall at the Airfield Falls in Fort Worth, Texas. I took a few of his senior pictures then, but these are the real ones!

This time, we went to Holland Lake Park. He brought all of his baseball and basketball gear, so we could capture the essence of his senior year in style!

For our session, we planned to go to a baseball field, however the one we planned to use had a makeup game going on, so we weren’t able to access the field. That didn’t put a damper on our spirits!

We improvised by staying on the outside of the fence, still making use of the scoreboard and other baseball props to capture exactly what we wanted. I can’t imagine a cooler session!

His mom and his younger sister, Shelby, tagged along for an extra measure of encouragement. Shelby outworked herself, keeping Preston hyped up! There’s nothing like a sibling bond. We laughed non-stop!

Preston is simply the nicest young man you’ll ever meet! He’s not accustomed to being in the center of attention, especially when the camera is pointed at him, but he did so well!

Trying something new can be difficult, but he jumped into it head-first, and we slammed some home runs! Preston trusted me to pose him well, and it was so much fun to photograph him.

It was important for Preston to snap some pictures with his beloved pickup truck, so I made sure that the light hit it in all the right places. What a sweet ride, Preston!

I hope you enjoyed your senior guy session as much as I did! It was great to see you again, and I can’t wait to see what you do going forward. Congratulations, Preston!
