Senior Girl Session at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens
Look out, world! Ashley recently graduated from high school and is on the precipice of pursuing a college degree at Oklahoma State University.
For her senior photos, we started off at her house so that we could take some sweet photos of her with her Corgi, Boone! The pup was so excited to see me and I think he knew how important this session was to Ashley and her mom. He wanted to run and play while we were trying to get him to smile for the camera, but we still managed to catch some amazing photos of him and Ashley! All in all, Boone posed perfectly!
Leaving Bethesda Christian School in Fort Worth will be a huge change for her, but I think she’s definitely up for the challenge!
After pictures with her furry friend, we went to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. I can always count on there being amazing blossoms and greenery that compliment my seniors and their sparkling personalities!
I love using layers of flowers and greenery to frame my senior girls. This spot was perfect and ended up being one of my favorites from the entire gallery.
Since it was the weekend, the gardens were pretty crowded. Even so, the grounds were big enough for everyone! The butterfly sculpture is always a “must have” when photographing at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.
Ashley planned her wardrobe perfectly. She even brought a Kentucky Derby-inspired sunhat for part of the session! I encourage accessories like hats and jewelry because they offer so much variety and personality to the photo shoot.
She knew exactly what she wanted and showed me a few sample pictures that she really liked. I think we did a great job of achieving her senior portrait dreams!
With one more outfit change, we completed Ashley’s session in Downtown Grapevine. Ashley is so fun to be around! We bonded over the fact that we both love 151 Coffee, which we agreed has the best coffee in town. I love supporting local businesses like 151 Coffee. Do you have a favorite coffee shop? I’d love to know!
