Plymell Family Photo Session in Fort Worth, TX
The Plymell family is super close to my heart because they are my cousins! When Eric and Abby added baby Ari to their family, they wanted some updated family photos to celebrate their daughter, Guinevere, becoming a big sister!
They were thinking about having their family session at an outdoorsy spot. During our consultation communications, we settled on the perfect location: Airfield Falls in Fort Worth, TX!
The Plymell family are so carefree and fun loving, so I knew at once that we had found the right spot for them. With the flowing water offering a stunning visual element, all the family had to do was enjoy the scenery and each other!
Baby Ari was a little bit out of his element and unsure about what was going on during the session, his parents stayed calm and went with the flow. That’s so important for parents to do with small children. Go with the flow!
I assured them that they would treasure these pictures no matter how well the kids cooperated. These moments are real life and documenting each stage is super important. Perfection need not apply!
The biggest challenge was keeping everyone safe and engaged. Fortunately, we got Guinevere involved! She was a big help in keeping everyone smiling.
She loved making her little brother laugh and running through the open field. One game we played together was popping bubbles! It was great to capture Guinevere’s wonder and energy!
The falls were pretty crowded this evening, so we made sure that we weren’t in anyone else’s space before we started snapping photos. I didn’t want strangers in the background, so sometimes that meant getting creative and shooting from a different angle. I was up for the challenge! In the end, you’d never know that the place was packed.
Every season of your family is special and memorable. Photos are there to help you remember each step of the journey, which is why I love my job. Any time a mom makes updating family pictures a priority, my heart is so happy because I know her family will be so grateful for them one day down the road.
Eric and Abby, I’m thrilled that you’ll have these photos to keep forever! It was such a blessing to see you all again, and congratulations on your newest addition to the family!
