High School Senior Guy Session in Keller, TX
Austin appeared completely comfortable in front of my camera during his high school senior session at Bear Creek Park! I was so happy to help him document this important milestone in his life! This was our chance to shine the spotlight on Austin, and this photo shoot turned out better than I could’ve imagined!
We started off the session at Bear Creek Park. We chose this location specifically because of its versatile backgrounds. It’s got everything from fields to ponds and gazebos, so I knew we couldn’t go wrong.
The first thing that made it particularly great was that Austin brought a very impressive prop. Keep reading to hear more about it! I always encourage my seniors to think about bringing something that speaks of a proud accomplishment or a talent or hobby. Austin decided to incorporate his truck into the session, and I thought that was the best idea ever! It’s such a sentimental vehicle to him, so it was fitting to capture him with it.
He also played football at Keller High School, so we took plenty of photos of him in his letter jacket. Football was such a huge part of his high school career that it would have been a crime not to include it!
But the props didn’t stop there! Austin loves to eat at Whataburger, an iconic establishment that he and his friends frequent often. Whataburger was crazy busy that Saturday evening, so we didn’t want to show up there and take pictures. It was way too “peopley” for either of us.
Instead, I improvised on a prop. I actually had a Whataburger gift card in my car, so I grabbed it for some quick shots just to give a little love to his favorite place!
Throughout the session, Austin had this calm, go-with-the-flow attitude. He was so relaxed during our session, and that made it easy to capture portraits of him that showed his true self. I love his big, charming smile!
His mom, dad, and sister also came to the session for moral support. They coaxed smiles and laughs out of him like I was paying them to do it! I welcome family members to join the sessions whenever they can or whenever they want. Family matters!
You’re a superstar, Austin! Congratulations on graduating high school. I know you’re proud of your accomplishments and off to bigger and better things now! I wish you the very best as you transition through this new life chapter.
