Alexis' Senior Girl Session at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens

I’m SO ready for the fall portrait season to start again, and it’s the perfect time to highlight Alexis’ Senior Girl Session at Grapevine Botanical Gardens! We set out for Grapevine Botanical Gardens for an extra-special senior session full of warmth and sunshine.

This senior photo session was a true delight from start to finish, filled with joy, vibrant colors, and the promise of a bright future ahead. First of all, congratulations on your achievement, Alexis! I’m thrilled that I was the one to take your senior photos!

Alexis is a 2021 graduate of Keller High School, and she was so excited to document her high school memories! With her eyes set on a career in nursing, she was so ready to embrace her next adventure. From the very beginning, I could tell that this session would be special.

One of the factors that made this session stand out was the location — the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. It's one of my all-time favorite places to shoot, and on this particular day, it did not disappoint.

The gardens were decorated with captivating pumpkin displays to signal the arrival of fall. We knew we had to incorporate these vibrant seasonal colors into our shots, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.

Alexis had meticulously planned out her outfits, showcasing her keen sense of style. Each change of clothing brought out a different facet of her personality, from the elegant and poised to the carefree and fun-loving. Putting on her favorite outfits helped her feel extra comfortable in front of the camera.

One memorable moment during the session was when Alexis pulled out her cell phone as a prop! We captured genuine moments of laughter and spontaneity, which added an extra layer of authenticity to her senior photos.

Throughout the session, Alexis' energy was infectious, and her smile was contagious. We focused on celebrating every moment of her senior year, and I was honored to be a part of it.

This session was a real treat because her family came to support her! Her parents and sister joined in for a few family photos, and their love and connection shone through in every frame. It was so cute to see them celebrate their newest high school grad!

Alexis was one of my first senior clients ever and my experience with her and her family was an important turning point in my career as a photographer. It confirmed that I love serving families this way. I am deeply grateful for their trust and encouragement!

I want to extend my thanks to Alexis for choosing me to document this momentous occasion in her life. Congratulations to Alexis on her graduation, and may her future in nursing be as vibrant and promising as the colorful autumn backdrop. Cheers to new beginnings!
