Weston's College Senior Session at TCU

As a college senior, there are few milestones as significant as graduation. That’s why I was thrilled to work with Weston, a friendly and easy-going individual who was eager to document his time at Texas Christian University (TCU). We made sure to document all of his best memories, starting off with the Neeley School of Business!

Neeley holds a special place in Weston's heart, since it was where he spent a significant amount of time pursuing his academic goals. One of the challenges we encountered during the session was the relentless sun. As we started taking photos at Neely, the sun cast harsh shadows and intense highlights around us. However, with careful planning and the help of my assistant, we were able to overcome this hurdle. Using a full-sized diffuser screen, we skillfully diffused the sunlight, creating an even and flattering exposure on Weston. This technique ensured that the images showcased his radiant personality without any distracting sunspots or unwanted squinting.

With a degree in Finance, specializing in accounting and Fintech, Weston is so ready to make a difference in the world. By incorporating the iconic landmark Sadler Hall into his senior portraits, we were able to encapsulate his academic dedication throughout his college journey with a few cap n gown portraits.

With all my college graduates, I like to give them a prompt to simply soak in their campus and think about the many hours spent there and the many good memories experienced. The hustle and bustle of graduation day usually doesn’t allow time for such thoughtful moments, so I make sure my graduates take this opportunity while they can!

To further personalize Weston's senior photo session, he requested to have a few pictures taken with his girlfriend. With limited time available due to her class schedule, we needed to act quickly and the beautiful, blooming tulips were at the right place at the right time! Using this picturesque backdrop for a mini couple’s session, we managed to easily capture the pure joy and love shared between them. How sweet they are!

The TCU campus offers a plethora of opportunities for photos with TCU branding…even on the ground! Weston had such a great attitude his entire session and was totally fine plopping down onto the concrete for some relaxed, natural poses.

In addition to the Neeley School of Business, we also headed over to the other side of campus to the Amon G. Carter Stadium. As a vibrant hub of school spirit and athletic achievements, the stadium represented Weston's pride and involvement in TCU's community, so it was a spot we couldn’t skip.

With the stadium as our backdrop, we captured Weston's infectious enthusiasm and his unwavering support for his university. Go, Frogs!

As Weston embarks on the next chapter of his life, I’m so happy that he will be able to look back on his senior photo session with fondness. These photographs will forever serve as a reminder of the transformative years spent at TCU and the incredible achievements he made along the way.

If you're a college senior looking to preserve your memories in a meaningful way, consider booking a senior photo session!
