Staying True to YOU During Senior Photos
Here is a photography first for me: a photoshoot at an oil change shop! When it comes to choosing a location for a senior session, there’s not a lot I haven’t seen before, but this was a first for me, and every second was a blast.
Brennan is a homeschooled high school senior who works at Valvoline Instant Oil Change and plans to pursue a career in auto mechanic industry. When selecting the locations for his senior photos, Brennan wanted his pictures captured in places where he felt most comfortable, and what better place than where you work?!?
Brennan’s manager at Valvoliine was very accommodating to our request. We captured amazing pictures of Brennan doing what he loves. Who would’ve thought the lighting would be so incredible inside the oil changing bay?
Since we photographed during work hours, several customers were there to have their vehicle serviced, so we politely worked around them. I didn't want us to be a distraction to the employees or be in their way, but we managed to snap so many amazing photos while staying respectful to our surroundings.
Once finished with my shot list at Valvoline, Brennan changed into his dressier clothes, and we headed down the road to the Flower Mound Riverwalk. We practically had the entire place to ourselves, so we took our time getting just the right shots. Brennan trusted me with my posing guidance and was a great listener. His contagious smile was non-stop the entire time, too!
