Senior Girl Session at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens

This year, Alex graduated from Trinity High School. Congratulations, Alex! She’ll be headed to Tarleton State University in the fall. I’m so glad that I have the privilege to freeze this special time in pictures!

To celebrate, she booked me for a senior session at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens! There were so many spots to choose from, especially during this time of year!

While she was school, Alex was a proud member of the band! She plays the trumpet, so of course we had to take some pictures with it! Some of her other hobbies include reading, writing, and creating video sketches. She also loves watching TV shows and movies.

Bubbly and bright, Alex brought so much happiness to her senior session! She embraced the entire photo shoot and was a natural in front of the camera.

It was critical for Alex to have some photos with her adorable furbaby, Ellie! Ellie was very well behaved, and she was a lady with perfect manners.

Melissa, Alex’s mom, helped me carry my things and held on to Ellie for the whole two hours! She was a lifesaver.

Alex was meticulous when preparing for our time together. After reading my style guide, she ended up bringing several outfits!

Since she purchased my hair and makeup package, Genna Schutza swooped in to make sure Alex looked perfect.

She felt so good that near the end of the session, Alex said that wanted to go take some selfies at a patch of bluebonnet flowers.

Since we still had a little light, I suggested that we cut things short at the botanical garden and head straight there! Bluebonnets are the Texas state flower, and they’re only in bloom for two or three weeks in the springtime.

Luckily, we caught them just in time, and they were arguably the best photos of the whole session! Congratulations, Alex! I wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.
