Senior Girl Session at Texas Christian University
I could not have been more excited to head out to Texas Christian University for Meredith’s college senior session! It’s not every day that I get to photograph a dual major graduate, and Meredith was ready to celebrate!
As a dual major graduate in Marketing and Finance with a minor in Accounting, Meredith is well on her way to fulfilling her big dreams. With that much going on, it’s no surprise that she’s super hardworking!
Vanguard, an investment management company, is very lucky to have snatched her up post-graduation. She’ll be moving to Arizona as a part of their Leadership Development Program. What a great opportunity!
One of her passions is writing, and she even authored & published a book! Of course we had to include her book in some of the photos! They turned out so well. I absolutely love it when seniors bring props to the session. Meredith’s were tailored completely to her and celebrated her achievement well!
In addition to all that, Meredith has started building a brand as a digital creator and podcast host! She’s put all she’s learned into practice, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her. She’ll be using her brand as a side-hustle during the Vanguard Leadership Development Program.
It was extremely important for Meredith to show different sides of herself and to reflect her college journey. She has so many fun hobbies! From yoga to shopping and cooking, Meredith has grown into a well-rounded young lady. Coffee was a huge part of her college journey, so she purchased some from a local Starbucks as a prop!
I always like to ask a senior’s favorite features about themselves. Meredith answered her eyes and hair! To accentuate this, we found some amazing backlighting around the tulips that just illuminated her inside and out! This was my favorite setting of the shoot.
Because of her attention to detail, we were able to tell her college story through these photos! Every person in the world is nuanced, so it was a blast to capture Meredith’s disciplined and academic side along with her goofy one!
Throughout the entire session, Meredith was so genuine and sweet. I felt like we had known each other for years, instead of only a few minutes. I love it when that happens! When the Texas wind whipped through the campus, she was so cheerful and patient as we navigated through to find natural windblocks. There were also many college tours going on that morning, so we practiced patience as the prospective students took in all TCU had to offer.
Fortunately, our college senior session went perfectly, without any hiccups. It was wonderful to spend this time with you, Meredith! Congratulations on this pivotal milestone in your life. I can’t wait to see what else you accomplish!
