Hannah's Senior Girl Session at Downtown Roanoke in Roanoke, TX
Hannah is an extremely talented basketball player from Byron Nelson High School. I’ve known her family for two decades and have had the privilege of photographing them many times, so this personalized session just for Hannah was extra fun to do! I also love photographing athletic seniors, and Hannah really brought her A-game to our senior girl session!
Since she’s earned herself a well-deserved scholarship, she’s so ready to start her next chapter at Murray State College in Oklahoma. With over 30 college credits already under her belt and a huge passion for basketball, Hannah is already crushing her collegiate goals.
While I’m so excited to celebrate her amazing accomplishments, we wanted to take a moment and appreciate the journey and challenges that Hannah has conquered in order to arrive to this place. That’s where senior photo sessions come in!
My goal is to capture the essence of a high school senior in timeless photographs that can be cherished for lifetimes. Hannah was all for it! She planned to wear her favorite jeans and sweater combo, and her mom convinced her to wear a flowy dress to add some variety to her gallery. I also provided her with a fashionable hat from my client closet for the perfect pop of color!
Both looks are absolutely stunning, and it shows two different sides of Hannah: sporty and chic. Hannah’s good friend helped us out with her hair and makeup, and the result was absolutely stunning! Hannah definitely shines both on and off the court.
Hannah opted for my Classic Package, a 45-minute session designed for those who want a quick and hassle-free photoshoot. She was a busy student-athlete with a lot on her plate, so we knew we couldn't spend hours capturing photographs. Instead, we aimed for quality over quantity.
Choosing the right location for a photoshoot is crucial, as it sets the stage for the story we want to tell through our pictures. For Hannah's shoot, we decided on Downtown Roanoke. This charming area was not only convenient for Hannah, being close to her home, but it also offered a diverse backdrop with its varied storefronts and interesting architecture.
The dynamic surroundings of Downtown Roanoke allowed us to capture a wide range of shots in a short amount of time. We explored different corners, taking advantage of the unique character that each location offered. From rustic brick walls to colorful murals, we had it all.
