Bringing Warm Attitudes to Chilly Senior Session at TCU

If you need proof that you can still have an amazing photo session despite the cold temperatures, look no further than Hailey’s senior photoshoot this past January.

Hailey, who is soon to earn her degree in Finance, is also a collegiate volleyball player for Texas Christian University. This accomplished athlete knew the classic look was what she was going for and fearlessly braved the cooler temps to get it done. “It’s worth it” was the phrase she repeated several times…and she was right!

With her volleyball season beginning very soon, Hailey wanted her senior pictures taken care of before her time became consumed with competitions. We had already rescheduled twice due to bad weather and a last-minute team practice, so when the sun was shining, we went for it even though we knew it was going to be a cold day. Time crunches can be great motivators to push through hard things!

When taking photos in less-than-ideal weather, preparation is key. Hailey had her outfits planned out, and we were very efficient with the time. Instead of standing in the cold for too long, we knew ahead of time which poses and landmarks we wanted to capture. That kept our smiles bright and attitudes warm!

While sunshine and comfortable temperatures are always preferred, sometimes your schedule doesn’t allow for a change in plans. As your photographer, I will walk you through all the options to give you peace of mind about the photo session, as well as let you know how the weather could impact the final product. I am confident we can work with your busy schedule!

I hope you enjoy scrolling through just a few portraits from Hailey’s photosession on the TCU campus. I sure loved taking them!

Thanks again for stopping by my blog today. If you haven’t booked your very own senior session, there’s still time before graduation. Contact me HERE for more details on how we can work together!
