Braden's College Senior Guy Session at Texas Christian University
Braden’s College Senior Session at the end of last spring could not have gone any better. He’ll be graduating this December from Texas Christian University, and what better way to celebrate than with a photo shoot before the busy semester begins!?!?
Most of his close friends had already graduated in the spring, and he wanted to ensure they could all join him for a memorable photoshoot. As a TCU cheerleader, Braden has a huge friend group, and it was so much fun snapping photos of them! (Keep reading for those fun pics!)
His hobbies include fishing, playing sports with friends, and occasionally indulging in video games. He spent his previous summer interning at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, setting his sights on a full-time job with the company after graduation. Fun…energetic…smart!! Wow!!
His best bud tagged along and jumped into a few of the shots with Braden. They were so funny and I knew I was going to be in for a treat when ALL of his friends showed up for the second half of his session.
This young man is definitely going places with his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University. He seemed to know how to balance work and play well while an undergraduate and I’m sure that will serve him well in life.
If you’re choosing to attend college at TCU, then you’d better be ok wearing boots, jeans, and a cowboy hat now and again. Braden wore them well and looked just as iconic as the campus itself.
I was so impressed with Braden’s planning skills. He was meticulous and ensured that every detail was accounted for, which was particularly good given the nature of working with a big group of fun-loving guys. Their camaraderie and willingness to go above and beyond to make the session memorable for Braden was impressive.
Despite the inevitable forgetfulness that can come with large group gatherings, the guys rallied together. One friend left his cowboy hat at home, another forgot his football jersey, and someone even neglected to bring the promised beer. However, these minor hiccups did nothing to dampen their spirits. In fact, these small inconveniences turned into hilarious anecdotes, which created even more memorable moments.
Braden describes himself as loyal, trustworthy, and handy, with an infectious happiness that draws people to him. I could definitely see those elements of his personality shine through in every picture we took!
It was heartwarming to see how much these friends respected and admired Braden. One of them even told me, "Just tell us what to do; we're up for anything Braden wants." Because Braden trusted me to take great photos, they did too!
One of the most unforgettable moments was when Braden and his friends agreed that they needed to shotgun beers at the iconic Frog Fountain on TCU's campus. As a photographer at TCU, I'm accustomed to capturing champagne and confetti pops, but this was my first experience with beer photos. It was a wild and chaotic moment that perfectly encapsulated the care-free spirit of this group.
