Bluebonnets with the Bell Family

In the middle of April, the bluebonnets were spectacular! This made the field off of Highway 114 in Grapevine the perfect location for the annual Bell family photos!

The Bells are my second cousins, and they’re so much fun to photograph! It was great to see them all again. Everyone was so sweet and polite!

The kids have been photographed a lot, so they knew how to smile and quickly remembered a handful of go-to poses like putting their hands into pockets.

They loved playing in the bluebonnets! We were careful not to crush the beautiful blossoms so that everyone else could enjoy them, too!

This session was just 20 minutes long, so we worked quickly to capture everything Katie wanted. Luckily, all of the kids were energetic, particularly Lindsey! After that, we parted ways to enjoy the rest of our Saturday morning!

In addition to family photos, we wanted to take plenty of pictures of baby sister, Lindsey! She is now two years old and some mother/daughter portraits were essential!

This session was particularly special because I took Katie’s maternity photos when she was pregnant with Lindsey. They have such a beautiful bond!

I also took Lindsey’s Fresh 48 photos just a few hours after she was born! It was in the spring of 2020, just before Covid restrictions closed the hospitals to photographers.

It’s amazing to see how much she’s grown! She’s her mom’s mini me in so many ways and adored by everyone. Her big brothers think she’s pretty special, too!

Thanks for a gorgeous family session, you guys! I hope you’re as awed with these breathtaking photos as I am!
