A Senior Session Done Family Style

A year may have already passed since Nathan’s senior picture’s were taken, but I can still feel the excitement, pride, and love his parents and siblings brought with them to his session. While this 2019 graduate was thrilled to include special memorabilia and favorite books, the most joyful part for him was including his family. They laughed together, jumped around, hugged and tickled each other mercilessly, gave each other piggy back rides, and overall just had fun celebrating all things Nathan! Thank you, Ashton Family, for trusting me with these special moments!

One of my favorite things about photographing Seniors is the variety and uniqueness each graduate brings to their session. I might be the one directing them where to stand for the best light or how to pose for the best body position, but their own ideas and vision are equally important. They are the ones providing the spark and soul. Ultimately, work together as a team to achieve the experience they desire.
